OUT OF THE DARK HEART OF THE BRITAIN … come DOOMSDAY OUTLAW! A ten-legged Armageddon machine rolling out of darkest Derbyshire, spitting heavy riffs and heavier grooves in all directions. Tales of hope and despair to bang your head to and lose your voice.
Releasing their second album in May 2016 to widespread acclaim (see below), the band have set about perfecting their live show. Effortlessly mixing heavy blues stomp with a melancholy tuneful edge, they recall Clutch, The Allman Brothers, Screaming Trees and Led Zeppelin – to name a few.
Stevie R. Pearce..Hard rock/garage Blues
“This is a strong and supremely confident record by a guy who loves what it is he does and given the opportunity can write a song with authority and style all of his own and it has mass appeal. I can see people really loving this record if given the chance to hear it; whilst mixing a variety of styles Stevie has created one of his own, and having an identity in this crazy business is not always easy. Play it to your friends and play it loud: these hooligans deserve it!” Dom Daley- Uber Rock

Taking influences from anywhere between Tool and David Bowie we found the perfect sound for what we want to put across. With a new sound festering over the past 4 years something unimaginable came into play when landing on our current formation. From all playing in different bands on the Oxford music scene we landed on the perfect incarnation, each with the same level of drive and vision of what we want to create.
Now based in London Silk Road have found the perfect mix of groove blues and rock.
Silk Road are: Bradley Taylor, Rory Drohan, Dan Podbery and Charles Evans
