To celebrate our first full year of Stagedive Comedy Club at Real Time Live we have a 1st Birthday special show! We bring you not 1 but 3 headliners!! Resident compare Jared Shooter will be back as always to bring you 3 of the best from the comedy circuit.
Opening the show we have Sully O’Sullivan.
Sully O’Sullivan’s been declared a highlight of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival by The NZ Herald, a highlight of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival by The Scotsman, featured on Australian TV’s The Comedy Channel, hosted a sellout standup tour of Croatia, won Canada’s annual Improvaganza Tournament, and completed 2 UK national tours supporting cult Heavy Metal Comic Steve Hughes.
In the middle is Harriet Dyer.
Fresh and unique, it’s a pleasure to spend time in Harriet’s company as she weaves her surreal and hilarious tales. An imitable raconteur, it’s easy to see how this new act is making a big noise.
Harriet already has heads turning with her baffling tales of a misspent youth, and bewildering personal tales that are so ridiculous, they must be true. Establishing her own style of material and delivery after such a short time, means Harriet’s stock can only continue to rise.
Our closing act for the evening is Ignacio Lopez.
Splitting his time between Spain and the UK, he has become a much demanded headliner, entertaining with his unique brand of sarcastic observations and witty lines, offering audiences a taste of what it’s like to be the outsider and sometimes combining music and comedy, parodying famous songs to show cultural differences with hilarious results.
In 2011, Ignacio beat thousands of comedians to appear in the final 10 competing in ITV1’s ‘Show Me The Funny’ in the UK. He also appeared on Spanish Television, IB3’s ‘Noches de Comedia’ performing in Spanish and on children’s TV show ‘Tati’s Hotel’ which aired in the UK and Canada on The Disney Channel.
